The educational focus of our project is based on christian principles and the aims and objectives of education in paraguay.

Education at the International School seeks the development of the capabilities and potentials of the human person, in the sense that in this work we collaborate to the humanization of the world according to the plan of God.

The International College is committed to Educational Reform in Paraguay and all those processes that seek to improve the quality of education, bringing his experience and his work in the service of this primary task for the development of the country.

Ecumenical, because it respects all religious values, promotes dialogue between faith and life, faith and culture, and faith and science.

Integral, because it develops all the capabilities of the man, that is to say, the knowledge, skills, attitudes, values, and behaviors that students are expected to develop in the personal, intellectual, moral, and social.

Permanent, flexible and contextualized, because it responds to the ongoing needs of personal growth, the needs of the recipients, in dialogue with all the conceptions and paradigms that are emerging and that way caters to the needs of development, local and national.

National, because it looks for the consolidation of our local identity and inserted into the reality of the peoples.

Interculturalbecause at the same time that it prepares students for the globalized world, it respects the multiculturalism and fostering dialogue among the various cultural agents of Paraguay and the world, incorporating bilingual education in the two official languages of the country, Spanish and Guarani, in addition to bilingual education in Spanish and English. English as a universal language that allows us to deal with cultural plurality as a wealth and helps us to find the integration of unity in diversity.

Education at the International School, is deeply committed to training in values such as justice, solidarity, truth, peace, and others, creating spaces for the experience and the practice of the same, and thus make possible the building of the Kingdom of God.

Particularity curriculum

The educational proposal of the International College addresses the Mission and Institutional goals, and to do this:

  • Privileges the Curriculum Humanist Christian. Identifies as being fundamental to the development of the whole person and seek their autonomy, and growth. Helps and encourages students to discover things for yourself, through experiential activities, inclusive and enriching.
  • Emphasizes the Curriculum of Social Commitment. Highlights the social needs of the individual. Believes that education is a means through which students learn to respond to the social challenges with christian commitment.
 

The educational proposal of the International College assumes the verticality of the Areas and Disciplines of learning to meet the Overall Objectives and the Profile of Exit of Education of Paraguay and to do this:

  • Emphasizes the Curriculum based on cognitive processes. Is more concerned with the development of the intellectual operations that the learning of the content.
  • Incorporates the Curriculum Technology. Instead of focusing on the mind of the learner, it emphasizes the correct selection and organization of the media as a critical factor in learning and effective solution to the problems of the school curriculum.
