




The Literary Academy of the International Schoolalthough there had already existed before, it was officially rebooted as recorded in The International (Informative review Student) may 1969. This revitalization took place in collaboration with a Group of Journalism Institutional led in some periods by Prof. Mario Prone. Since then, the ACALI has maintained an activity almost uninterrupted, with prominent advisors over the years, as Prof. Aurelio González Canale, Prof. Myrian Say so, Prof. María Isabel Barreto and Prof. Margarita Blacksmiths.
Currently, the ACALI operates on Tuesdays from 15:40 to 16:30 h, under the direction of Prof. Johanna Ferrarino Chaparro. During this time, carrying out various activities such as literary and cultural heritage. Among the objectives are: to Promote the interest towards the literary and artistic world in all its expressions; to Collaborate in the construction of knowledge through the discussion respectful based on the free thought; to Propose a current view, conscious and critical of the social reality of current; To develop the interest in participating in cultural activities, artistic or scientific.
The ACALI has expanded its reach beyond the classrooms, organizing sessions outside of the institution. In recent years, we have visited landmarks such as the International Book Fair (Buenos Aires), the Literary Café of Assumption (although currently out of operation), the International Book Fair (Assumption), the Museum of the Memory of the City, the Library Augusto Roa Bastos, the National Library of Paraguay and the Museum of Memories: Dictatorship and Human Rights, among others.
It should be noted that the ACALI has been the cradle of notable references to the culture, the arts and various fields of leadership in Paraguay, consolidating its status as a fundamental space for the integral development of its members.
